The Women’s Summit, now in its 8th year, is the premier grassroots event.

This year’s program is designed to be a day of power, a day of unity, as we stand shoulder to shoulder with esteemed activists, visionary leaders, and dedicated elected officials. They will fill us with motivation, inspiration, knowledge and tools to take on this historic challenge. Together, we will  draw strength from one another and harness the collective energy of our movement.

You’ll have the opportunity to learn new strategies, gain fresh insights, and connect with powerful grassroots changemakers who share your passion for making a difference. Every interaction here is an opportunity to level up and strengthen our collective impact.

With this being a Presidential election year, the Women’s Summit is going “national” and expanding our scope from Virginia to every state.

So don’t miss out on a single moment of this empowering experience.  In this monumental work, we will achieve great things and drive the wins we need. It’s Up to Us!

Program

Your ticket includes access to all pre-event activities Friday (June 28) and Saturday (June 29) programing: Sessions, activities, coffee breaks, and Saturday lunch.

Capital One Hall doors open at 9 AM. The Networking Hall will be a buzz with leading organizations and interactive exhibits to expand your community and get into action on the issues. Come ready to build and expand your relational connections and community. Interact with the various organizations and creative exhibits that will up your game in activism.

The Saturday program includes keynote speakers, engaging panel discussions, networking opportunities, and an atmosphere designed to create energy and drive action for the run up to the election.

FRIDAY (6/28) – Pre-Event Activities

Friday National Postcard Palooza
4:00 – 7:00pm

Join postcard writers from across the country for the first NATIONAL POSTCARD PALOOZA. We’ll be strategizing, crafting, and networking all afternoon and into the evening.

Doors open at 4pm with the formal program running from 4:30 – 6:30pm. 

  • Demonstration Tables – Visit demonstration tables on rubber stamping, colors and collaging, upcycling, word layout, and more.
  • Conversations – Participate in conversations on best practices, hosting postcard parties, getting addresses, research on postcard effectiveness, just to name a few.

Supply Swap Tables – Postcard Displays – Writing Areas – Raffle 

The room will stay open until 8:30 for a full night of writing postcards with friends near and far who you know on Zoom and for one night you  will get to write together in person!

Friday Night Meet Up, Mix & Mingle
7:00 – 9:00pm

The Watermark Hotel is a perfect spot for a casual mix, mingle and meet up with other activists, candidates, and elected. Come join us for a rousing welcome to kick off a spectacular Summit.
